The venue will be set in the deer park of Shuckburgh Hall by kind permission of James and Claire Shuckburgh. A fairly hilly route taking in all the medieval villages in the local vicinity, Hellidon Lakes golf club (not all routes) and some spectacular views of the rolling Northamptonshire hills.. A good mix of bridleway, private farmland and set asides with excellent canter potential and quiet country lanes. There will be a manned crossing over the A425. This will be a fun early season ride with lots of distance options for people and with the Northamptonshire Hills for fitness development, what’s not to like? Estimated roadwork depending on route to around 10-20%.
